HOMELESS PROJECT EXECUTION

We will carry out the process in phases to clearly show how the $72 billion will be allocated, so stakeholders understand the execution strategy to address homelessness nationwide effectively. Our plan includes constructing, staffing, and furnishing facilities, implementing an intake process, and providing food and clothing. Additionally, we will build 110 permanent housing units to support 780,000 homeless individuals across the 50 states and Washington, D.C.

    • Develop a comprehensive strategy, including timelines, goals, and key performance indicators, for building 110 housing facilities across 50 states and DC. This includes zoning requirements, community impact studies, and sustainability plans.

    • Funding Allocation: Plan how the $72 billion will be distributed across land acquisition, construction, operations, and services. This might involve setting aside funds for initial setup, with provisions for ongoing maintenance and support.

  • Land Acquisition Team: Engaging real estate experts to evaluate land options shows we're working together, building trust and shared ownership among partners.

    • Land Acquisition Team: Hire experts in real estate to scout, evaluate, and purchase land or existing structures in each state. Factors like accessibility, community services, and local support would be considered.

    • Feasibility Studies: Conduct studies to assess the viability of each site for housing projects, considering environmental impact, utilities, and connectivity.

Step 3: Design and Construction Preparation

  • Architectural and Engineering:

    • Hire Architects and Engineers: Engage firms specialized in prefabricated modular housing to design efficient, scalable, and sustainable housing units.

    • Design Approval: Designs would need approval, taking into account local building codes, aesthetics, and functional requirements for homeless rehabilitation services.

  • Procurement and Logistics:

    • Material and Construction Contracts: Secure contracts with suppliers for materials and with construction firms capable of handling prefab work to ensure cost efficiency and speed.

Step 4: Construction and Development

  • Building Phase:

    • Start Construction: Build in phases, prioritizing areas with the highest need or where land acquisition and permissions have been secured first.

    • Implement rigorous quality checks to ensure the facilities meet both design specs and safety standards, reinforcing trust in the project's outcomes.

Step 5: Operational Readiness

  • Staffing for Operations:

Step 6: Launch and Ongoing Management

  • Opening Facilities:

    • Soft Launch: Begin with a few facilities to iron out any operational kinks before a broader rollout.

    • Gradually open all 110 facilities, ensuring each integrates well with local communities and services, fostering a sense of collective achievement.

  • Step 6: Launch and Ongoing Management Feedback Mechanisms: Establishing systems for resident and staff feedback will make participants feel valued and involved in continuous improvement.

    • Feedback Mechanisms: Establish systems for feedback from residents and staff to improve services and facilities.
